About David Killeen
I am commercial and fine art photographer who is based in Dublin. I studied Fine Art at the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork City, receiving a Honours BA in 2008. The following year graduated with an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths University of London.
My interest in photography in area of social documentary, architecture, urban environment and well to put it simply tell stories or look or observe subjects at a ‘sideways glance’ or from a different perspective.
I have exhibited my work in Ireland, UK, United States and Colombia with solo exhibition at the Royal Geographic Society in London.
My commercial work involves property development, aerial photography, brand, event and photo journalism working with number media outlets such as the Irish Times, Sunday Times and INM. I am a certified drone operator in both Ireland and the United States as well holding a U.S. Pilots Licence since 2005.

· Accepted for an Artist residency at Campos de Gutiérrez in Medellín, Colombia to develop work practices.
· Graduate fellowship – Chosen as guest speaker at the 9th International Festival of the Image 2010, Manizales, Columbia, as part of a member of an Oxford-Goldsmiths lecturing panel. This was in recognition of receiving the highest mark awarded to a student in their end of year assessment on visual imagery.
· Active alumni member of the Centre for Urban and Community Research (CUCR) Goldsmiths University of London
